Lessons
Nora & Rachel teach beginner through advanced lessons on your horse or one of our school masters located at our 300 acre facility in Sterling, CT. Ship in lessons are also available.
Training
Nora & Rachel specialize in bringing along young horses and rehabilitating the elite equine with physical & emotional challenges.
Showing
Harris Sport Horses frequents our regional A circuit shows including Fieldstone, Vermont & HITS. We also compete at rated day shows and schooling shows on the property at Falls Creek Farm.
IEA Team
Rachel is the head coach of the Harris Sport Horses IEA team, which welcomes riders in grades 4-12 to compete without the need to own or lease your own horse. Reach out to Rachel to inquire about joining the team.
Sales & Leasing
Harris Sport Horses has a variety of horses available for sale or lease on the property located in Sterling, Connecticut. Some of our horses are retired Grand Prix horses stepping down to lower levels of jumping, while others are school masters at their respective levels. Please inquire with Nora about current horses available for lease or sale.
Clinics
At Harris Sport Horses, Nora & Rachel take their own training very seriously, continuously working on their own skillset and regularly bringing in international caliber clinicians, like Boyd Martin, Daniel Stewart, Ernest Dillon, Don Jessop, and Tik Maynard.
Education
At Harris Sport Horses, we believe horsemanship comes first. We routinely host educational workshops on topics like braiding & equestrian sports nutrition. We offer educational camps in the summer for children and advanced camp for teens & adults who wish to enhance their horsemanship skills.
Harris Sport Horses also has a limited availability to take on working students wishing to gain additional riding and horsemanship experience.
Braiding & Grooming
We offer full service grooming, including clipping. Rachel is a professional braider offering hunter braiding services on site, at select shows, and at your barn.
